Scientists in Oklahoma are using mice to do the research.

They found when they removed a certain cloned enzyme in male mice the females did not have babies.

Researchers say the contraceptive still has a long way to go, but they are starting to develop a drug.

They’re years away from testing the male birth control pill on humans.
