LOS ANGELES (AP) - Hollywood has shifted into high gear, but the
high fashion can wait until Sunday. Denzel Washington showed up at
the Kodak Theatre to rehearse his lines wearing sneakers, track
pants and a backward baseball hat.

Hilary Swank came with no makeup on, her hair in a ponytail. But she was casual chic in a silky white blouse, skinny black pants and heels. And there's no shortage of parties this week, especially to toast the Best Picture nominees. "No Country for Old Men" and "There Will Be Blood" are tied for the most nominations at eight. "Atonement" and
"Michael Clayton" both have seven. And "Juno" has four.
