LAKE OZARK, Mo. According to a post from Miller County Prosecuting Attorney Benjamin Winfrey, shared on the Lake Ozark Police Department Facebook page, a man has officially been charged with two counts of first degree murder after a shooting at the Riverview RV Park Wednesday morning.

According to the post, Gary Sweet, 58, of Rolla, "knowingly caused the death" of two Lake Ozark residents with "deliberation" by shooting them with a gun.

Winfrey's post also says Sweet was charged with two counts of first degree assault, and four separate counts of armed criminal action.

These charges came about after a full day of investigation at the Riverview RV Park off of Highway 54.

The park was taped off for most of the day Wednesday as officers investigated two separate locations, one being the office of the park, the other an RV located just a few hundred feet away.

There is no word on the victims names at this time.
