Two Branson High School students killed in crash on Jan. 14

TANEY COUNTY, Mo. (KY3) Two teenagers who attended Branson High School were killed in a crash on Jan. 14, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

According to troopers, a 2006 Ford Taurus driven by Desiree Wolfe, 16, of Branson, ran off Route F one-mile west of Merriam Woods, struck several trees and overturned. Wolfe and her passenger, Zackary Huddleston, 17, of Merriam Woods, were pronounced dead at the scene.

According to obituaries provided by Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home, Wolfe was part of the Branson High School volleyball, track and cross county teams as well as a member of the flag corp. Huddleston enjoyed weightlifting, football, athletics and fixing cars.

The crash was Troop D's third and fourth fatalities for 2018.
