2 killed in snow-related crashes on I-44 in the Ozarks; Conway pileup at least 60 cars

ROLLA, Mo. -- The Missouri Highway Patrol is investigating several crashes on a snowy I-44 between Marshfield Rolla Sunday.

Two people died in the crashes. Here's what we know about the many crashes:

-The patrol worked eight different crash scenes from 1:20 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.
-Troop I out of Rolla reports 34 reported injuries from those crashes.
-Many more involved in those crashes reported no injuries to investigators.
-One pileup happened near Conway at mile marker 106. The patrol reports at least 60 vehicles had damage. The patrol tells us a man from Glendora, California died in the crash. The patrol closed that stretch of I-44 for about 15 hours.
-Another pileup happened in Rolla at mile marker 186. Investigators say 13 people suffered injuries in that crash. That crash involved 30 vehicles.
-The patrol reported another fatal crash on I-44. Deborah Anderson, 63, of Ballwin, Mo. died at the scene of a multiple-vehicle crash at mile marker 138 east of Lebanon.
-Troop D in southwest Missouri worked nearly 350 snow-related crashes.
-The KY3 Storm Team reports snow totals range from a half-an-inch to about an inch.

The KY3 Storm Team predicts a chance for more winter weather Tuesday into Wednesday for that same stretch of I-44.
