SPRINGFIELD, Mo. Onion Jam Tartlets

1/2 cup onion jam
2 ounces goat cheese
1 sheet crescent roll dough
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley
Using a 2 inch tart cutter cut 2 inch round circles out of the crescent roll dough. Place the dough circles on parchment paper or a well greased baking sheet and sprinkle with garlic salt. In the center of each dough circle, put 1 tablespoon of onion jam. Top the onion jam with some crumbled goat cheese and bake in a 400° oven until dough is golden brown and crispy on the bottom. Place on serving tray and garnish with fresh chopped parsley. Serve immediately. Recipe serves six.
