Police raid 3 massage parlors in Joplin in human trafficking investigation

JOPLIN, Mo. -- The Joplin Police Department executing three search warrants at massage businesses in the city.

Detectives say the warrants are part of an ongoing human trafficking investigation. From the three locations combined, police identified a total seven women as victims of human trafficking and removed from the businesses. Police immediately paired the women with services to ensure their well-being and safety.

Investigators say no arrests have been made. The investigation is still on-going.
