NEAR LEBANON, Mo. -- The first snow of the winter season in the Ozarks hit the Lebanon area the hardest.

The Missouri Highway Patrol says black ice was to blame for a crash slowing traffic on I-44 northeast of Lebanon. The crash happened near the Gasconade River bridge around 6 a.m. It involved a semi in the westbound lanes.
