Man suffers life-threatening burns after fire at Springfield gas station

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- A man suffered life-threatening injuries after a fire at a Springfield gas station Wednesday.

It happened at the Kum and Go at the corner of Campbell and Whiteside, just south of Bass Pro Shops. A Springfield fire marshal tells us a man was filling up when he caught fire, suffering severe, life threatening injuries.
His name has not been released.

Firefighters do not suspect anything suspicious.
