Leigh's Lost and Found: featuring a timid Black Shepherd mix

In today's Leigh's Lost and Found report, our featured lost dog is a sweet girl, but very timid.

"I just think she's not socialized very well, that's just her personality."

Shelter coordinator Josh Doss says he doesn't believe the female dog is hesitant because she's been abused. He says it appears she shies away because she's just unsure.

Someone found her running loose in the 600 block of south Nettleton on September 16th. She's only about one to two years old and despite her shyness, she gets along very well with the people and other animals at the shelter.

Josh says one thing makes him sure she has an owner somewhere.

"She was found with a collar on and a flea collar, a little black one, but no tags and she doesn't have a microchip."
