Leigh's Lost and Found: featuring a lost Corgi/Shepherd mix with a scar

In today's Leigh's Lost and Found report, our featured lost dog has a very distinguishable mark that could help us find his home.

"He has a what appears to be a scar on his back left leg. We're not sure if it's just an old injury or he's just missing some hair there, but it's at least something to identify him by."

The two to three year old male dog is a Corgi-Shepherd mix, with the German Shepherd face and the Corgi body. He walked up to a home in the 2300 block of north Avenue B on October 13th and the homeowners brought him to animal control.

Shelter coordinator Josh Doss says he's in great condition and obviously has a home somewhere.

"He's been well taken care of. He's in great body weight condition. He's been neutered and he has very clean teeth."

If you recognize our featured dog, or if you've lost a pet, you can call animal control at 833-3592. You can also visit their website to see pictures of all the animals currently there and to fill out an online lost pet form.

Another great resource is the Leigh's Lost and Found facebook page. Anyone can post a lost or found animal on there so be sure to like the page and share it with your friends.
