Leigh's Lost and Found: Featuring a lost St. Bernard mix

In today's Leigh's Lost and Found report, we're featuring a young male dog found in the 400 block of south Suburban. You can tell by his face, what breed he mostly is.

"He's definitely got St. Bernard in him, quite a lot actually. But there's something else in him that makes him skinnier and smaller than your typical St Bernard, but we don't know what it is."

Animal control says the dog is just about 50 pounds and should be more like 65 or 70, so he may have been on the loose for awhile.

Shelter coordinator Josh Doss says he does appear to have been owned at some point and socialized. They think he's only about two years old but he already has what appears to be an older leg injury.

Josh doesn't think it bothers him but it does show up when he starts walking fast or running.

"He'll use it when he's just standing or walking but when he gets going, he picks it up and doesn't use it."
