Meet KY3's MMJ Jasmine Dell.
Jasmine comes to us from KFVS in Cape Girardeau where she’s spent the last year as a reporter/photographer. Here’s her bio from her last station:
Jasmine started her career as a reporter for KOMU 8 News, the NBC
affiliate in Columbia, Missouri. She is a proud graduate from the University of Missouri’s School of Journalism with her Bachelor of Journalism. In Columbia, Jasmine also worked for ESPN’s SEC Network as a utility. In 2014, she served for an NPR affiliate station KBIA 91.3 FM in Columbia, Mo.
Jasmine was one of the founders of the Association for Women in Sports Media, University of Missouri Chapter. She served as president for the Missouri AWSM chapter for two years from 2013-2015, as well as getting national recognition as chapter of the year from 2014-2015.
Jasmine was born on Whiteman Air Force Base, near Knob Noster, Mo. close to Sedalia. She was brought up in a military family lived all over the world. Missouri is now the longest place she’s lived and calls it her home. In her spare time, she enjoys southeast Missouri’s wineries, breakfast, football season and country concerts.
