Meet KSPR's Mike Scott.
Mike joined the KSPR News team in December of 2007. He worked three years as weekend sports anchor before being promoted to Sports Director in August of 2010.
In May of 2012, Mike transitioned into the role of KY3 Inc. Executive Sports Producer,
overseeing the 11-person department that includes KSPR and KY3 Sports, along with the high school sports website OzarksSportsZone.com.
The Willard native received his Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism at Missouri State University. He then spent three years at KTTC-TV (NBC) in Rochester, Minnesota.
Mike, his wife Shannon, son Brayden, daughter Macy, dog Lenny, and cat Mr. K currently live in Republic.
"I have my dream job, and couldn't be happier to raise a family in the Ozarks," said Scott. "I'm excited about taking local sports into the next generation."
Mike enjoys covering all sports no matter how popular or bizarre.
