Meet KSPR's Frances Watson.
Frances Watson joined the KSPR News team in March 2015 as a reporter and weekend anchor.
She moved to Springfield from the Northwest where she worked as a multi-media journalist and anchor for KEPR News, the CBS affiliate in Pasco, Washington.
She covered crime and courts in Benton, Franklin and Walla Walla counties along with Umatilla County in Oregon.
Frances graduated from California State University Fullerton in Fullerton. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism.
Frances was born in Los Angeles and raised in the eastern edge of the county, making her a huge Dodgers fan. She’s is excited to be in the Midwest.
She is an animal lover and loves to sing original songs to her dog, Bosco. Even if it drives her husband nuts.
