Glimpsed at Work: Katie Mathias

Katie Mathias is the first to admit that in the year that she's been working as a receptionist at the St. John Properties headquarters in Woodlawn about a year ago, her fashion sense has undergone a big change -- from not knowing much about who makes what to loving certain labels. She credits her style mentor, fellow receptionist Alicia McNish. Mathias likes to go for a "classy" look, with clean lines and few accessories. "I don't wear accessories. I feel like I am the accessory." When we "glimpsed" the 24-year-old Union Bridge resident, she was wearing her favorite duo: a chic little dress with fabulous high heels. Her purple and white patterned empire waist dress came from Dress Barn and her purple leather peep-toe slingback platform heels came from the Nine West outlet. Her silver tone and crystal hoop earrings were Target finds, and her red handbag is from the Coach store.
