Meet Natalie Nunn

By Brad Belote

Natalie may be new to the world of television weather... but growing up in Marshfield, she is not new to the quickly changing conditions of the Ozarks. As a child, when a tornado warning or thunderstorm warning was issued for Webster County, her mom would take her to the top of the biggest hill and watch the storms roll in instead on seeking shelter. Something she doesn't recommend you doing!
Natalie graduated from Marshfield High School in 2003 where she spent her days playing sports for the Lady Jays. When time for college came, Natalie enrolled in Evangel University. She majored in electronic media with an emphasis in broadcasting where she won various awards. Natalie became an intern at KSPR in the fall of 2005. When she was asked to fill-in as a weekend weather anchor, she jumped at the chance... not thinking she would eventually move to the morning show.
Natalie says, "Being prepared as you walk out your door in the morning is very important. And, knowing what the weather will be like plays a big part in that. When you tune into KSPR News This Morning, our mission will be to prepare you for the day ahead while having a lot of fun in the process. I can promise that we will bring you the forecast for what's applicable to your life. From bus stop weather for the kids, drive-time conditions, and game night forecast for the whole family, we will cover it all."
When not in the newsroom Natalie spends a lot of time outdoors on Lake of the Ozarks with her family. Her seven nieces and nephews take up the majority of her days off, but she wouldn't trade-in being "Aunt Nat" for anything in the world. She also enjoys spoiling her 70-pound English Bulldog, Tug.
If you'd like to send story ideas or suggestions to Natalie, she'd love to hear your comments.
